  17.     Installation Instructions

  19. * Installation
  20.  
  21.    Version 1.0 is being distributed as both a 16-bit Windows program and 
  22.    a 32-bit windows program.  If you are running Win3.x you must use the 
  23.    16-bit version even if you are running Win32s, because the 32-bit 
  24.    version makes use of 32-bit API calls not supported by Win32s.

  26.    Both the 16-bit and 32-bit versions includes an installation program.
  27.    To install Netscape run the setup.exe program. The Netscape Chat
  28.    installation program will install Netscape Chat in a directory of your
  29.    choice, add a Netscape Chat section to your WIN.INI file, and create a
  30.    Program Manager group and item.

  32. * Initialization File    
  33.    The self extracting archive for the Netscape Chat contains 
  34.    the initialization file nschat.ini, which has entries for all of the 
  35.    values you can customize for the Netscape Chat.

  41. Your computer system must be equipped with appropriate software and hardware  
  42. for running Netscape Navigator. Please refer to Netscape Navigator
  43. readme.txt for networking hardware and software requirement.
